On this 12-hour private tour from Paris, your private chauffeur will meet you at your hotel or apartment in central Paris. After a 2.5-hour drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle – with a stop for breakfast along the way – you will arrive in Caen, where your expert historian guide will join you for the day.

The first stop is Pointe du Hoc, one of the most emblematic sites of the D-Day operations. This dramatic cliff was bravely scaled by American Rangers on June 6, 1944, as they fought to capture German bunkers.

The private vehicle is air-conditioned and comfortable, which helps make the journey easier, but the experience itself is really meant for older kids and teens.

Absolutely! We can arrange for you to take the train from Paris to Bayeux (about 2h15). From there, we can create a customized multi-day program with your own private guide and chauffeur based in Bayeux. After your stay, you will take the train back to Paris. Our team will be happy to organize the train tickets and design the tours according to your family’s interests.
