Overview

Escape busy Paris for a day with your family to wander in the quaint streets of the city of Reims and beautiful vineyards of the heart of the Champagne region. What’s better than a glass of champagne to enjoy your day with your relatives? Let’s start our sparkling journey and discover one of the most charming regions of France.

Your kid-friendly guide and your private chauffeur will meet you at 8am at your hotel or apartment in central Paris. Benefit from an air-conditioned private ride from Paris and roam the countryside for a couple of hours before reaching Reims.

Your first stop will be the lovely city of Reims. Your guide will show you the impressive cathedral and the old part of Reims. Built in the 13th century, the Reims cathedral is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Bigger than Notre-Dame de Paris, it has housed the coronation of 25 Kings of France and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guide will also show you some hidden gems in the ancient neighborhood of Reims.

After visiting Reims, we will head to Epernay, the capital of Champagne! In Epernay, you will have a break to enjoy one of the local restaurants before diving into more bubbly activities.

We then invite you for a relaxing ride in a tuk-tuk to discover the vineyards scenery surrounding Epernay, an amusing ride for the entire family regardless of age. Take a breath of fresh air and look at stunning sights while heading up to the cellars of a local champagne producer for your first champagne tasting. This 19th century house has been producing champagne for almost two centuries and visiting its cellars will make you feel as if you’re going back in time. Get to see the daily life of a local champagne maker and have a sip of his best bottles.

Back to Epernay, visit the well-known Avenue de Champagne where the most prestigious champagne houses have established themselves in beautiful private mansions and domains. We will visit one of them: Moët-et-Chandon, a champagne house created at the end of the 18th century. During a 90-min tour, your guide will tell you the story of these champagne cellars and you’ll discover how champagne is made. You will be rewarded at the end of the tour with a wonderful tasting of their most delicious cuvée, while kids will get a soft drink. Cheers!

It is now time to head back to Paris. Stretch your legs in your private van and take some time with your guide to remember your day in Champagne.

Can we still do this Champagne tour from Paris if we have more than 5 people?

Just advise us in your request form about the number of people in your party, as well as their category (adult or child), so we’ll be able to tell you the price for your party.

Is this tour okay for young children?

Totally! Even the youngest ones can enjoy this tour. Instead of champagne, they will enjoy soft drinks and they will love the tuk-tuk tour in the vineyards!

Can we buy some champagne during this tour?

Yes of course! In addition to the various tastings, you will have some time to make some purchases along your Champagne tour from Paris if you wish (you can take the bottle with you or they can be shipped).

Can we include other Champagne houses in our tour?

Cancellation Policy

      • Should the cancellation occur more than 7 days before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you the full amount of the Reservation, Except for the tours with tickets, on which we retain 20% to cover their reservation cost, and except the Eiffel Tower and Versailles activities (see below for more details).
      • Should the cancellation occur between 7 days and 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity.

      For Eiffel Tower activities:

      • Should the cancellation occur between the day of your reservation and 5 days before the activity, we will refund you 60% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 5 days before the beginning of the Activity.

      For Versailles:

      • Should the cancellation occur between the day of your reservation and 7 days before the activity, there will be a 250€ of cancellation fees.
      • Should the cancellation occur between 7 days and 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity.

      For Workshops and Classes:

      • Should the cancellation occur at least 10 days before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 10 days before the beginning of the Activity.

      For cruises, Tuk-tuk & Sidecar:

      • Should the cancellation occur 10 days before your tour, we will refund you the full amount of the Reservation.
      • Should the cancellation occur between 10 days and 5 days before your tour, we will refund you 50% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 5 days before the beginning of your tour.
