Enjoy a Louvre Teens Tour crafted with love to entertain them and the whole family

A bit of history now… For decades, the red ghost of John the Skinner haunted the Louvre grounds. In 1871 though, the Tuileries Palace, built by Catherine de Medici near the Louvre, was destroyed by a fire. Since then, the ghost had not been seen. Unfortunately, the famous alchemist, Nicolas Flamel, failed one of his experiments and brought John the Skinner’s ghost back!

This is where your adventure begins: all along this tour, your teens will discover the hidden symbols of some famous chef d’oeuvres.

More than a visit inside the most famous museum in the world, this tour will be a journey through art and time and an entertaining experience for your teens, as well as for your entire family.

Ready to follow Nicolas Flamel in his quest to save the Louvre from the mischievous John the Skinner?

We have not yet completed our stay or our tours, but I already know that MTL has overdelivered so much and I have no doubt that they will continue. We received so much assistance and consideration from Dominique before we ever left the US for our first trip to Paris. She helped to create a perfect itinerary for our trip that accounted for our three kids (a tween and 2 teens). From the moment we arrived, Dominique was on top of everything. She truly is Super Woman! We met Yaelle for our Notre Dame/tuk tuk/Eiffel Tower/Siene cruise tour and she was also amazing. She took great care of us, was very patient and accommodating, and even helped us secure reservations at a great restaurant for the end of the night. ??? The next day, we met Sebastian for the teen tour of the Louvre. He immediately engaged the kids and was so entertaining and informative that they stayed off of their phones for the entire two hours (a record, I assure you). Tomorrow, we head to London for a day that Dominique put together for us and that promises to be fabulous. We are also scheduled to do a walking chocolate tour and Versailles tour before we leave, but I have no doubt whatsoever that MTL will not disappoint. DO NOT HESITATE and do not look anywhere else. Meet the Locals is THE premier provider for Paris tours, bar none.

We were only in Paris for 2 1/2 days and visiting the Louvre was a must for us. I wasn’t sure my teenagers would be as enthused and I was concerned about navigating the Louvre in the few hours we had to visit it. We were all so happy to have had Christelle from Meet the Locals guiding us! She got us right in on the group line entrance and took us straight to see Mona Lisa without any delays. The line was already up to an hour by the time we were done. We got to see many highlights in the Louvre and she shared her vast amount of knowledge with each piece we saw. The treasure hunt game was really great and we all played which was a lot of fun. It definitely kept the tour interesting for the girls. We learned so much in such a short time! They loved the tuk tuk ride that followed and it was a nice change of pace from all the walking we had been doing. Christelle also took us through the Eiffel Tower to the Summit on a separate day. She once again was able to have us bypass major lines and get to the top without a hassle. She was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating to the needs of our family on every aspect imaginable. She helped us find great restaurants and shared many tips with us to allow us to see areas of Paris that were not loaded with tourists. I felt for the short time we were in Paris we got to experience so much and really get a feel for the city based on her great recommendations. Christelle has a wonderful warmth about her and the whole family took to her right from the start. If you are hesitant about the money you need to spend on touring I would say don’t think twice about it. It is well worth the investment. And ask for Christelle- you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be using Meet the Locals on my next visit to Paris!

We went to the Louvre and Sebastian was phenomenal at making sure our daughter had a front-row view to the Mona Lisa. We bought her a camera for her birthday and she wanted to take a picture of the Mona Lisa. There were so many people there that we weren’t sure was going to be able to happen. Sebastian was able to maneuver her to the very front so that she could get a picture. She still talks about it months later!

My children loved the tour of the Louvre with Sebastien – he even tailored the entire visit to their areas of interest (Egyptian, Greek and Roman sections). Definitely a highlight of our entire visit to France, I have no hesitation in recommending Sebastien and the Meet the Locals tours of Paris. I only wish that we had had more time to arrange a French Revolution walking tour with the same company. Brilliant tours with insightful, personable guides!
