Meet

Laura A.

For generations

her family has called London home. Laura thinks that ever since the moment her grandparents met on the platform of a South London tube station, she was destined to live and work in this multilayered, multicultural, multifaceted, and exciting city. London is in her bones!

Classically trained,

she worked in theatre and television for ten years including roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and has toured the country widely. Since then she has combined her role as a drama practitioner and storyteller with raising her daughter and has worked extensively with schoolchildren with special educational needs.

As a volunteer

during the London Olympics, Laura realized how much she missed the buzz of the metropolis. This led to a career change- she became a guide so that every day communicate, engage and share her passion for uncovering London’s hidden secrets and the unexpected. She is a fountain of knowledge, so don’t hesitate to ask her about her latest finds!
