How long do we spend on the boat?

The total time spent on the boat is approximately 1h15 to 1h25, depending on where the tour starts.

  • From Venice to Murano: 15–20 minutes
  • From Murano to Burano: 25–30 minutes
  • From Burano back to Venice: 30–35 minutes

Can we get seasick?

If you’re prone to motion sickness, it could be an issue. Some sections of the tour, particularly between Burano and Murano, are done at higher speeds. If you know you’re sensitive to seasickness, we recommend not booking this tour to ensure your comfort.

Is the tour suitable for young kids?

Yes, absolutely! The tour is fun, engaging, and full of exciting discoveries. The combination of a private boat ride, leisurely walks, and hands-on demonstrations of traditional crafts makes it a perfect adventure for young children.

Can the tour be extended?

Absolutely! The tour can be extended to 4 hours, but this must be confirmed at the time of booking by selecting the “1-hour extension” option. The additional hour gives you the opportunity to include a breathtaking cruise along the iconic Grand Canal, gliding past Venice’s most famous landmarks, or to enjoy a more leisurely visit to Murano and Burano with extra time for shopping or soaking in the unique atmosphere. The choice is yours, but please note this must be arranged during the booking process and cannot be decided on the day of the tour.

Can we be dropped off at a different location from the departure point?

      • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a full refund. Exceptions are: for tours with tickets we charge a 20% cancellation fee; for the Eiffel Tower and Versailles tours (see below for specific cancellation charges).
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Eiffel Tower activities:

      • Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a 60% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 5 days of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Versailles:

      • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will be charged a 250€ cancellation fee.
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.

      For Workshops and Classes:

      • Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to the date of your workshop/class will receive a 50% refund.
