Overview

French Crêpes are famous across the world for their delicate texture and delicious buttery taste, and after our 3-hour masterclass you and your kids will be able to impress your friends and family by making them at home!

Stéphane, our fabulous and fun expert chef, trained at the best crêpe school in Brittany (the home of the traditional French Crêpe), so he knows a thing or two about making them.

In his fully-equipped crêperie kitchen he will share his tips and secrets for creating the tastiest crêpes, how to make them as light as a feather and, importantly, how to flip them without breaking them!

Who will be the best crêpe maker in the family, you or your kids?

Learn how to make famous French crêpes in this hands-on cooking class.

Under Stéphane’s guidance and expert tuition and using professional equipment and utensils, the whole family will discover the secret to the perfect lump-free batter and how to pour faultless crêpes time after time.

No more spilt batter or dropped crêpes!

As you have fun in the kitchen and compete with your kids to make a flawless crêpe, your confidence will grow as high as your stack of crêpes and soon the whole family will be expert crêpe makers.

And the best bit: once you have perfected your art, you will be invited to enjoy all your hard work by covering your crêpes with a choice of delicious home-made sweet toppings including:

  • Chestnut Cream
  • Chocolate Sauce
  • Nutella (of course!)
  • Nuts and jams
  • And you must try Stephane’s famous salted butter caramel!

FAQ

Can we book this Crêpes cooking class for more than 6 people?

Yes, the more the merrier! Just advise our superhero squad in your request form about the number of people in your party, as well as their category (adult or child).

Is this class suitable for all ages?

Chef Stephane welcomes everyone one from 8 years and above to come and learn how to make crêpes in his kitchen. If you have younger children who are lovers of crêpes, they are welcome to join to watch, but due to insurance restrictions they may not participate in the workshop.

Can this class cater for all dietary requirements?

Due to the nature of the crepes, this class is not suitable for vegans or coeliacs or anyone who is lactose intolerant.

Do I need any special clothing or equipment?

An apron will be provided for the duration of the class. Please do not wear open-toed shoes.

Can we cook savoury crêpes?

Savoury crepes are called galettes in French. They are made with buckwheat not flour and because they require a different technique they are not part of the workshop.

Is the workshop accessible for wheelchairs?

Unfortunately, as the workshop takes place in a professional kitchen at a crêperie there is no access for wheelchairs.

Cancellation Policy

      • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a full refund. Exceptions are: for tours with tickets we charge a 20% cancellation fee; for the Eiffel Tower and Versailles tours (see below for specific cancellation charges).
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Eiffel Tower activities:

      • Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a 60% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 5 days of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Versailles:

      • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will be charged a 250€ cancellation fee.
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Workshops and Classes:

      • Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to the date of your workshop/class will receive a 50% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 10 days of the workshop/class will be charged in full.

      For cruises, Tuk-tuk & Sidecar:

      • Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a full refund.
      • Cancellations made between 10 days and 5 days prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.
