Overview

Enjoy some fun for the whole family during this hands-on, practical workshop with a genuine Parisian baker and learn how to make, shape and bake these traditional baguettes or croissants; and best of all, you get to keep the results!

This is a great opportunity to understand the French art of baking and learn all the best tips for creating the perfect baguette or the crispiest croissant, direct from a master craftsman.

Croissants and baguettes use very different doughs and very different methods to produce the familiar shapes and tastes – and it’s not as easy as you might think!

So, roll up your sleeves and get ready to dip your hands in the flour as you share some kitchen-fun with your kids!

Learn how to make French baguettes or croissants in this immersive workshop

Since we don’t use the same dough or the same techniques for baguettes and croissants, you will have to choose which workshop you would like to take. We know that is very hard to choose to make!

During the baguette workshop, you will learn the techniques of achieving a golden, crispy crust and a hot and melting middle. You will create 3 types of baguettes such as the classic baguette, the ‘Parisse,’ and a reworked one that sparked the success of this lovely bakery based in Paris!

If you sign up for the croissant workshop, you will learn the well-kept secrets of how we make them so light, layered and utterly delicious. Of course, you’ll have to shape croissants, too! This requires real skill, but don’t worry, the baker will be there to share his tips and show you how!

What is the minimum age to participate in this baking workshop?

Everyone 6 years old and up is welcome to join this baguette and croissant workshop.

Can we bring home all the goodies we help make?

Yes of course! They are all yours!

Can we make baguette and croissant?

We know it’s hard to choose between the baguette and the croissant! If you really want both, the only option is to sign up for the baguette workshop, and at the end you will simply shape the croissants, because making the special pastry is a very long process.

Can we bake cake instead?

Not for this workshop, but we have a class completely dedicated to French pastries you can find by clicking here!

What if we have more than 6 people?

Just advise our superhero squad in your request form about the number of people in your party, as well as their category (adult or child), so we’ll be able to tell you about the extra fee per additional person.

Cancellation Policy

      • Should the cancellation occur more than 7 days before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you the full amount of the Reservation, Except for the tours with tickets, on which we retain 20% to cover their reservation cost, and except the Eiffel Tower and Versailles activities (see below for more details).
      • Should the cancellation occur between 7 days and 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity.

      For Eiffel Tower activities:

      • Should the cancellation occur between the day of your reservation and 5 days before the activity, we will refund you 60% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 5 days before the beginning of the Activity.

      For Versailles:

      • Should the cancellation occur between the day of your reservation and 7 days before the activity, there will be a 250€ of cancellation fees.
      • Should the cancellation occur between 7 days and 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 48 hours before the beginning of the Activity.

      For Workshops and Classes:

      • Should the cancellation occur at least 10 days before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 10 days before the beginning of the Activity.

      For cruises, Tuk-tuk & Sidecar:

      • Should the cancellation occur 10 days before your tour, we will refund you the full amount of the Reservation.
      • Should the cancellation occur between 10 days and 5 days before your tour, we will refund you 50% of the Reservation.
      • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 5 days before the beginning of your tour.

  • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 6 days before the beginning of the Activity.

For Workshops and Classes:

  • Should the cancellation occur 7 days before the beginning of the Activity, we will refund you 50% of the reservation.
  • We will not make any refund for cancellations occurring less than 7 days before the beginning of the Activity.
