Pedal through Westminster and discover some of London’s most famous sights, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, before continuing towards Buckingham Palace and the Royal Parks.

Catch Part of the Changing of the Guard

If you book your tour on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning, the itinerary will include a stop to catch part of the famous Changing of the Guard.

You won’t stay for the entire ceremony, but you’ll have the chance to see the guards and military bands and enjoy a glimpse of one of London’s best-known royal traditions before getting back on your bikes and continuing the tour.

Try Street Art at Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel

Towards the end of the tour, park your bikes at Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel, one of London’s best-known street-art spots.

Surrounded by colourful walls that are constantly changing, it’s your turn to get creative. Pick up a spray can and have a go at creating some street art yourselves. No artistic talent required, luckily!

It’s a fun, hands-on moment for the whole family before hopping back on your bikes for the final ride to the starting point.

Classic Bike or eBike? You Choose

Fancy a little electric boost? eBikes are available too, giving you another fun way to cruise through London while enjoying exactly the same sights and experience.

Whichever option you choose, this is a private tour, so the ride can unfold at your family’s pace, with time for photos, questions and stops along the way.

FAQ

Is this London bike tour suitable for young children?

Absolutely! Even the youngest family members can join the fun! We offer several options depending on your children’s ages:

  • Child seats: from 9 months to 5 years old
  • Tag-along bikes: from 6 to 12 years old
  • Smaller independent bikes: from 7 years old

Whether your little ones prefer to sit back and enjoy the ride or pedal along themselves, the whole family can share the adventure!

Is it safe to cycle in London with children?

Your guide will lead you through Royal Parks, along cycle lanes and quiet backstreets, with some sections on regular roads. The route is designed to be family-friendly, but independent riders should be comfortable controlling a bike and cycling in an urban environment. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of stops along the way.

Can we choose eBikes for our London Family Bike Tour?

To ride an eBike, you must be at least 14 years old and 1.55 m (5’1″) tall.

For younger children, we also offer pillion seats, so they can enjoy the ride as passengers!

Will we see the Changing of the Guard?

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning tours, the itinerary includes a stop to catch part of the Changing of the Guard. The ceremony is subject to the official schedule and may be cancelled or changed at short notice.

Will we get to try street art?

Yes! At the famous Leake Street Graffiti Tunnel, you’ll make a quick stop to try your hand at spray painting. Just a little creative fun before hopping back on your bikes!

What should we wear for the bike tour?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and suitable shoes for cycling. Helmets are provided, and rain ponchos are available if needed. A little London rain won’t stop the fun!

How long is the tour?

The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours, including sightseeing stops, photo opportunities and the street-art experience at Leake Street Tunnel.

Is this a private tour?

Absolutely! It’s just your family and your private guide, so you can explore London at your own pace, ask questions and enjoy plenty of stops for stories, discoveries and family photos.
