That’s why we’ve created this 3-hour family-friendly tour, turning Florence into a playground of history, art, and fun—guaranteed to keep kids engaged and parents smiling. From Florence’s most iconic landmarks to an awe-inspiring encounter with Michelangelo’s unique masterpiece, David, this tour is designed to delight everyone.

Right from the start, your little adventurers will dive into the experience with their own personalized activity booklet. Younger kids will hunt for hidden animal statues scattered across the city (Yes, lions and other mysterious creatures are lurking around!). Your journey begins at Piazza della Repubblica, where stories of ancient Roman Florence set the stage for your adventure. Next, admire the Duomo with its colorful marble façade and Brunelleschi’s dome, a marvel of Renaissance ingenuity that continues to inspire wonder.

As you stroll through Florence, you’ll pass by Orsanmichele, a fascinating granary-turned-church adorned with remarkable statues. Your guide will share the intriguing stories behind its transformation as you admire it from the outside.

Then, step into Piazza della Signoria, Florence’s open-air museum. Surrounded by sculptures, including the replica of David, and the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, this square becomes the backdrop for tales of artistic brilliance and historical drama. Will we have any inside visits?

Yes! The tour includes an inside visit to the Accademia Gallery, where you’ll admire Michelangelo’s iconic David up close. If you’d prefer to replace this visit with another or add additional inside visits, we’re happy to create a customized itinerary just for you. Let us know your preferences through our contact form, and we’ll handle the rest!

Are tickets for the Accademia skip-the-line?

Entering with our guide provides fast-track access, allowing us to avoid the regular ticket line. However, please note that the mandatory security check cannot be skipped and may take some time. Rest assured, we’ll get you inside as quickly as possible to enjoy Michelangelo’s David!

How difficult is the walking part?

Florence’s city center is compact and flat, making it an easy walk for everyone. That said, many streets are paved with charming (but uneven) cobblestones, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes to ensure you enjoy the tour to the fullest!

What happens if it rains?

Rain is no problem—we’ve got you covered! Bring an umbrella and embrace the unique charm of Florence, even in wet weather. With a bit of luck, the timing of our Accademia Gallery stop might align perfectly to give you a break from the rain while enjoying Michelangelo’s David. Our guides will do their best to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the tour.

What happens if it gets too hot during this Florence family tour?

Don’t worry, we won’t let Florence turn into your personal oven! We avoid the hottest hours, make time for refreshing drinks (or gelato, because it’s Italy!), and, best of all, the Accademia Gallery is air-conditioned.       • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a full refund. Exceptions are: for tours with tickets we charge a 20% cancellation fee; for the Eiffel Tower and Versailles tours (see below for specific cancellation charges).
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Eiffel Tower activities:

      • Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a 60% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 5 days of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Versailles:

      • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will be charged a 250€ cancellation fee.
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.

      For Workshops and Classes:

      • Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to the date of your workshop/class will receive a 50% refund.
