Next, it’s off to the magnificent Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral—better known as the Duomo. From the outside, this architectural marvel is a feast for the eyes, with its intricate green, pink, and white marble façade. But here’s the best part: while others queue for hours, you’ll walk straight in with our VIP skip-the-line access. Inside, prepare to be wowed by Vasari’s stunning frescoes of The Last Judgment, which adorn the interior of Brunelleschi’s Dome. Your guide will share the incredible story of how Brunelleschi defied the odds to construct this architectural masterpiece, transforming the skyline of Florence forever.

Feeling adventurous? Why not take on the Dome climb! With 463 steps separating you from the top, it’s a workout—but the reward is a 360-degree view of Florence that will leave you speechless. While your guide will leave you at the entrance to tackle this challenge solo, let us know in advance, and we’ll secure your extra tickets for the climb. Trust us, the photos (and bragging rights) are totally worth it. (Note: the Dome climb is an optional add-on.)

FAQ

Are your tickets truly skip-the-line?

While this term is often used loosely, we guarantee VIP entry to the Duomo. However, punctuality is crucial—please arrive at the meeting point by 1:45 PM sharp, as late arrivals will result in the tickets being forfeited. For the Accademia, our tickets are also skip-the-line, but due to a maximum capacity of 800 people inside, there may occasionally be a short wait.

Do you recommend this tour for young kids?

Honestly, this isn’t the most fun tour for very young children. We offer other tours that are much better suited to keeping little ones engaged and entertained. Isn’t it too hot to tour in the afternoon during summer?

During the height of summer, the heat can indeed be intense in the afternoon. However, the interior of the Duomo offers a cooler atmosphere, and the Accademia is air-conditioned, making both stops comfortable and enjoyable despite the heat. And of course, there’s no better way to cool down afterward than with a delicious gelato—Florence has some of the best!

Is Brunelleschi’s Dome included in this tour?

No, the Dome climb isn’t included in this tour, but it’s definitely worth considering as an add-on—it’s an incredible way to see Florence from above (and get a workout at the same time!). Just keep in mind it’s 463 steps to the top with no elevators, so you’ll need to channel your inner athlete.       • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a full refund. Exceptions are: for tours with tickets we charge a 20% cancellation fee; for the Eiffel Tower and Versailles tours (see below for specific cancellation charges).
      • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to the date of your tour will receive a 50% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Eiffel Tower activities:

      • Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to the date of your tour will receive a 60% refund.
      • Bookings cancelled within 5 days of the date of your tour will be charged in full.

      For Versailles:

      • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the date of your tour will be charged a 250€ cancellation fee.
